Eclipse Performing Arts - Competition Team

EPA Dance Team is Eclipse Performing Arts “National Award Winning” traveling, competitive dance team.  Our competition team strives to build positive relationships and experiences for all our dancers.  Our dancers must support, inspire, and encourage one another, inside and outside the studio.  We realize that being a member of the EPA Dance Team is a significant time commitment.  With that commitment, you will be receiving an extremely high level of dance training from Professional, Award winning and accredited choreographer, coach Amanda Ruhl

Summer Team Commitment Plans 2026

Mandatory Summer Classes

Beginning July 6th

  • Turns & Leaps — Wednesdays, 4:00–5:00 PM

    • Mandatory for team dancers; open to all students ages 8+

    • Included in regular Eclipse tuition

  • Strength & Conditioning — Wednesdays, 5:00–6:00 PM

    • Mandatory for team dancers; open to all students ages 8+

    • Included in regular Eclipse tuition

  • Mini Competition Team (for current team dancers only) Wednesdays, 6:00–7:00 PM

    • 6 weeks — $250 per dancer — due by first class

  • Beginner Competition Team (for current team dancers only) Wednesdays, 7:00–8:00 PM

    • 6 weeks — $250 per dancer — due by first class

New Season Auditions

(2026–2027)

Saturday, August 1 — 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

  • Ages 6–9: 10:00–11:00 AM

  • Ages 10+: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM

Decisions will be emailed by August 7.

Mandatory Team Boot Camp

$200 per dancer — due by parent meeting

  • August 15 (All dancers unless specified)

    • 10:00–11:00 AM — Ballet Conditioning

    • 11:00 AM–12:00 PM — Improvisation

    • 12:00–1:00 PM — Combo Class (Ages 9 and under)

  • August 16 (all dancers unless specified)

    • 10:00–11:00 AM — Ballet Conditioning

    • 11:00 AM–12:00 PM — Modern

    • 12:00–1:00 PM — Combo Class (Ages 10 and up)

For those who auditioned and made the team!

Friday, August 14 — 6:00 PM

  • Attendance required for both parent/guardian and dancer

  • All newly accepted team dancers and returning
